Mission
Coral Cantigas increases awareness and appreciation of the many rich styles of Latino (Latin American, Spanish and Caribbean) choral music, and promotes diversity by uniting communities through the joyful and transformative power of music. Cantigas provides artistic excellence in creative programming; educational workshops; and bilingual, cross-cultural and collaborative performances to national and international audiences.
VISION
To be nationally and internationally recognized for our unique, artistic excellence and as a resource for Latino choral music repertoire and composers • To establish an ongoing multicultural choral festival • To provide opportunities for people of all backgrounds to have a cross-cultural experience by participating in Coral Cantigas’s children, youth, and adult choirs • To provide education and training in Latino choral music.
